Storms moved through parts of Oklahoma on Thursday morning, with at least five tornado warnings issued and two tornadoes that touched down in Purcell and Shawnee, leaving behind damage.
SPRINGFIELD – Isolated tornadoes are possible in the afternoon on Jan. 8 in Springfield. More generally, isolated severe storms are on track to affect the area late this afternoon and evening, according to the National Weather Service out of Lincoln. Damaging wind gusts and a few tornadoes are the primary hazards.
